- Over 50% of K-3rd graders are at high-risk for reading difficulties. (VALLSS, 2024-25)
- Virginia ranked 41st and 51st in Reading and Math Recovery. (Education Recovery Report Card 2019-2024)
The workforce pipeline starts with giving children the skills they need to succeed in reading and STEM.
It will take BIG, BOLD and CATALYTIC public-private investment, and we’re bringing together business and civic leaders, policymakers and philanthropy to solve big problems.
Virginia has a reading and math crisis that must be solved.
