Back in February, we filled you in on the latest in regards to Virginia’s Kindergarten Readiness Assessment (VKRP).

Good news!  Phase II is underway!

Our research team at UVA CASTL recently released an overview of selection of readiness tools that will complement Virginia’s Phonological Awareness Literacy Screening (PALS) this fall to help provide a snapshot of Virginia’s entering kindergarteners, defining the readiness gap in our state across geographic areas and socio-demographic backgrounds.

Right now, we’re busy recruiting school districts to take part in this exciting venture.  Interested?  Check out this letter to school superintendents from Dr. Robert Pianta,to learn more about recruitment for the VKRP.

If your school district is interested in joining us in Phase II, contact Lori Lee at llee@e3va.org.

We’d love to have you partner with us!!
