Today, we continue to hop across Virginia scouting out great places for kids and families.  Today’s city was sent into us from Julie, mother of 4.  Below are some of her family’s favorite spots:

Mill Mountain Park--it’s a one-stop shop with hiking, play ground, a small zoo, and a picnic area.  Click here to watch a short video to learn more.

Center In The Square–has a butterfly garden, aquariums, and museums–all in one place!

Taubman Museum of Art-lots of great programs and activities for kids and families.  Learn more about their upcoming events here.

Virginia Museum of Transportation-bring your family to experience and learn about all kinds of transportation that connect Virginia to the rest of the world.

Science Museum of Western Virginia–come experience science in a fun, hands-on way!

Natural Bridge Caverns–speaking of hands-on, why not head to the caverns at the natural bridge and head deep within the earth?  They also have a nearby zoo, where you can ride elephants, take pictures with baby tigers, and feed giraffes.

Who’s ready for a road trip?  Thank you, Julie!!
